Here is your weekly commercial drivers travel update, which sets out changes and events that could affect your planned operations.
A406 near Tottenham – Between 22:00 on Friday 25 and 05:00 on Monday 28 October, the A406 will be closed westbound near Tottenham at the Angel Road flyover. Eastbound traffic will not be affected. From 22:00 on Friday 1 until 05:00 on Monday 4 November, the A406 will be closed eastbound at the Angel Road flyover, with one lane closure westbound. This is for safety work.
Directional closures will also be needed on the weekends of 15 to 18 November and 22-25 November to complete the joint replacement and resurfacing works. Visit our A406 travel advice page for updates.
Central London – Until Saturday 19 October, a group is intending to protest continuously at 11 locations across Westminster. Impacted locations include Trafalgar Square, Parliament Square, Whitehall, Westminster Bridge, Horseguards Road, Horseguards Avenue, The Mall, Millbank, Broad Sanctuary, Marsham Street/Horseferry Road, Dean Bradley Street and Lambeth Bridge (both roundabouts). Expect delays in these areas.
Hackney – Until 05:00 on Friday 1 November, Kingsland Road will be reduced to a single lane in both directions between Englefield Road and Dalston Lane. This is due to urban realm improvement works.
Hounslow – From Friday 18 until Sunday 20 October, there will be overnight directional closures of the Hope & Anchor flyover on Country Way. From 22:00 on Friday 18 October until 08:00 the following morning, the flyover will be closed eastbound and reduced to two lanes westbound.
From 22:00 on Saturday 19 October until 08:00 the following morning, the flyover will be closed westbound and reduced to one lane eastbound. This is for essential maintenance works. Please check before you travel and allow plenty of time for your journey.
Westminster – From 10:00 until 18:00 on Saturday 19 October, a group will gather at Park Lane and Piccadilly and march to Parliament Square. This is for a demonstration. Road closures and diversions will be in place from 10:00 in and around Westminster, and central London will be extremely busy. Plan your journey in advance and allow extra time. Westminster – From 12:00 until 15:00 on Sunday 20 October, a group will gather at Marble Arch and march to Park Lane before returning to Marble Arch. This is for a procession. Delays are expected.
Westminster – From 13:00 until 18:00 on Monday 21 October, a group will gather at the junction of Marble Arch on Edgware Road. This is for a religious procession. Delays are expected.
