Here is your weekly commercial drivers travel update, which sets out changes and events that could affect your planned operations.

Following the major fire in North Kensington yesterday, 14 June, certain roads in the area remain closed. You are advised to avoid the immediate area and check before you travel. Find latest information here

Extensive road closures will be in place for the State Opening of Parliament on Wednesday 21 June. Bridge Street will be closed from 03:00. From 07:00, restrictions will start in St James Park, Parliament Square, Whitehall and Victoria Street areas. Wider road closures will be implemented from the Victoria area in the west, to Southwark Bridge in the east, Vauxhall Cross and Waterloo to the south of the river and Trafalgar Square and Pall Mall to the north of the Houses of Parliament.

Tulse Hill
Until Monday 3 July, Norwood Road is closed southbound between Christchurch Road and Leigham Vale. This is for utility works.

Eastbound lane closure on the A406 North Circular at the junction of Dog Lane from 04:00 Friday 16 June until 11:30 Saturday 17 June to facilitate utility works.

From 12:00 until 14:00 tomorrow, Friday 16 June, expect delays on Whitehall southbound between Whitehall Place and Richmond Terrace. This is for a march.

A12 Green Man Tunnel (E11)
Closed in both directions from 22:00 Friday 16 until 05:00 Saturday 17 June.

From 06:00 until 15:00 on Saturday 17 June, there will be various road closures in the area, including Horse Guards Road from 06:00, all roads within St James’s Park from 08:00, Whitehall (northbound) from 09:00 and in both directions from 10:20. This is for a ceremonial event.

A102 Blackwall Tunnel
Blackwall Tunnel southbound closed from 01:00 until 08:00 on Sunday 18 June.

Southwest London, Sutton and Surrey
From 05:00 until midday on Sunday 18 June, Nightingale Walk, Nightingale Lane, and Burntwood Lane will be closed. There will also be road closures in the Carshalton and Banstead areas. Expect large numbers of cyclists in these areas.

From 08:00 until 17:00 on Sunday 18 June, Chelsea Bridge Road will be closed northbound at the junction of Ebury Bridge Road. This is for resurfacing works.

High Holborn
From 09:00 until 16:00 on Sunday 18 June, a contraflow will be in place on High Holborn at the junction of Red Lion Street. This is for utility works.

From 08:00 until 12:30 on Sunday 18 June, Whitehall will be closed. This is for a ceremonial event.

Central London
From 11:00 until 17:30 on Sunday 18 June, expect delays while a procession travels to Trafalgar Square via Park Lane, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly, Haymarket and Pall Mall East. The procession will be facilitated by closures on approaches to the route, including Park Lane southbound, Shaftesbury Avenue westbound from Cambridge Circus, and Piccadilly underpass eastbound.

Central London
From 15:00 until 19:00 on Sunday 18 June, expect delays on Portland Place, Regent Street, Oxford Street, New Bond Street, Grosvenor Street and Grosvenor Square. This is for a march.

Central London
From 17:30 until 18:45 on Sunday 18 June, expect delays on Beak Street, Great Marlborough Street, Regent Street, Hanover Street and Square, Holles Street, Henrietta Place, Wimpole Street, New Cavendish Street, and Thayer Street. This is for a procession.

A2 Eltham Tunnel (SE9)
Full closure of Kent-bound bores from 22:00 Sunday 18 June until 05:00 Monday 19 June.

From Monday 19 June until early October, there will be restrictions on Robin Hood Way from Coombe Hill Road footbridge to Vale Crescent from 08:00 until 17:00 each day and 22:00 until 05:00 each night. This is to facilitate resurfacing works.

Park Royal
From Monday 19 June until Saturday 24 June, there will be overnight restrictions (22:00-05:00) on the A406 North Circular at the junction of Harrow Road: full closure of the on slip from A404 to A406, lanes one and two of the A404 closed, lane one of the A404 closed across the flyover, and eastbound lanes one and two of the A406 closed from Harrow Road to Wrights Place.

A13/A200 Rotherhithe Tunnel
Closed from 22:00 Monday 19 June until 05:00 Tuesday 20 June.

A13 East India Dock Tunnel (E14)
Closed from 22:00 Monday 19 June until 05:00 Tuesday 20 June.

Limehouse Link Tunnel (E14)
Closed between 22:00 and 05:00 on the nights of Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 June.

Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)
