Here is your weekly commercial drivers travel update, which sets out changes and events that could affect your planned operations.

Oxford Street transformation
This joint consultation with Westminster City Council will run for eight weeks until 18 June to seek views from as many people as possible about how to transform Oxford Street and the surrounding district. For more information, and to respond to the consultation, click here

Until early August, there are various restrictions in place around Parliament Square and its approaches. This is due to utility works. For more information, please visit

From 21:00 on Friday 28 April until 06:00 on Tuesday 2 May, A127 will be closed in both directions between Gallows Corner and the junction of Ardleigh Green Road and Squirrels Heath Road. This is for bridge replacement work. For more information, please visit

From 10:30 until 19:00 on Saturday 29 April, roads in the area will be busier than usual, including A316 Chertsey Road, all roads leading to Twickenham station, and around the stadium. This is for an event. London Road, Whitton Road and Rugby Road will be closed before and after the event.

From 15:30 on Saturday 29 April until 02:00 on Sunday 30 April, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to a sporting event.

From 07:00 until 15:00 on Sunday 30 April, there will be extensive road closures in the area. This is for an event.

Tooley Street
As part of Network Railway’s ongoing works at London Bridge station, Tooley Street will be closed in both directions between Borough High Street and Bermondsey Street from 00:01 Saturday 29 April to 05:00 Tuesday 2 May.
