The Mayor of Redbridge, Cllr Gurdial Bhamra, is holding a charity fun run in Ilford on Sunday 2 April 2017.
The family fun run will follow a 5 km route in and around Ilford Town Centre, starting at 9am from outside Redbridge Town Hall where it also finishes.
Those who have completed the route will receive a medal, t-shirt and goody bag from Olympic Gold medallist and six times Olympian Tessa Sanderson CBE.
There’s a £6 entry fee to take part, and all money raised will be going to the Mayor’s Appeal charities – Redbridge’s Healthy Living Project, the Disabled Asian Women’s Network, Redbridge Giving Tree and disability charity Vibrance. A special rate of £28 is available for up to six participants from the same family.
Participants are encouraged to raise more money for the Mayor’s charities through individual fundraising or sponsorship, but they may also raise funds for charities of their choice.
With only 500 places available, don’t miss out on your chance to take part – sign up today through Eventbrite.
