Rugby World Cup 2015
Between Friday 18 September and Saturday 31 October, Rugby World Cup 2015 will take place. There will be 17 matches across three London venues – The Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, Wembley Stadium and Twickenham Stadium.

The transport network between central London and Twickenham, Richmond, Hounslow and Kingston will be busier than usual this weekend, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September. Certain roads will be closed, including the A316 Chertsey Road between London Road and Hospital Bridge Road as follows:
Friday 18 September from 16:00
Saturday 19 September from 17:00

The A316 closure will be in place for all matches at Twickenham. Drivers are advised to follow event signage in the area or seek alternative routes. Roads will be re-opened when it is safe to do so, after each match has finished, but increased traffic in the area is expected for up to three hours following the end of both matches. Parking will be suspended on some roads surrounding the A316 closure. For a map showing busier areas, please click here

On Sunday 20 September, a match will take place at Wembley Stadium in the afternoon. On Wednesday 23 September a match will take place at The Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford in the evening. There will be road closures on both days.

Hampstead
Until early November, there will be southbound lane restrictions on Finchley Road between Frognal Lane and Langland Gardens for utility work.

Woodford
From 22:00 on Friday 18 September until 23:59 on Sunday 20 September, the southbound slip road between the M11 and the A406 North Circular will be closed and diversions will be in place. This is due to bridge repair work. For more information, please click here

Central London
From 08:00 on Saturday 19 September until 18:00 on Sunday 20 September, Grosvenor Crescent will be closed in both directions, between Grosvenor Place and Wilton Crescent, due to crane operations.

Central London
From 08:00 on Saturday 19 September until 18:00 on Thursday 24 September, there will be lane restrictions on New Oxford Street at the junction of Bloomsbury Way, due to crane operations.

Wembley
From 10:30 on Sunday 20 September, certain roads including Engineers Way will be closed. They will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so. The A406, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads surrounding the stadium are expected to be busy, due to Rugby World Cup 2015. For more information, please click here

Central London
From 08:00 until 14:30 on Monday 21 September, Aldwych and Wellington Street will be closed due to an event.

Stratford
On Wednesday certain roads will be closed, including Westfield Avenue from 18:00 and Montfitchet Road and Pool Street from 20:30. Roads will be re-opened when it is safe to do so, after each match has finished. This is due to Rugby World Cup 2015. For more information, please click here
