Direct Vision Standard (DVS)
Have your say on proposals to introduce a new Safety Standard Permit Scheme as part of DVS which widens our approach beyond direct vision and includes a safe system approach to allow us to address a broader range of road danger risks. The consultation closes on 24 January and further details can be found here
Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and Low Emission Zone (LEZ)
We would like to hear your views on proposals for two further initiatives to improve London’s air. These are introducing tougher emissions standards for the LEZ from 2020, so that they affect heavy vehicles London wide and expanding the ULEZ from central London up to, but not including, the North and South Circulars in 2021 for light vehicles. The consultation closes on 28 February 2018 and further details can be found here
